Speed Skating Canada has partnered with Svante, a global leader in carbon capture and removal technology, to launch ‘Save the Ice’, a climate change campaign that aims to raise awareness about the impact of global warming on winter sports, including speed skating, and enables Canadians to make a personal impact on the climate.

For every share of the campaign video featuring Olympian Gaetan Boucher, Svante will remove half a kilogram of CO₂ from the atmosphere. Together, we can help preserve the ice, the sport we love, and our planet for future generations.
